1. Agreement to terms
These terms govern your use of Runambiz, a platform operated by HoblemercyTech that gives businesses a website and an AI assistant to manage customer conversations, orders and payments on WhatsApp, Telegram and the web. By creating an account, you agree to these terms.
2. Accounts and stores
You must provide accurate information when creating your store, and you are responsible for everything published under your account, including product details, prices, and any rules given to your assistant. You must be legally able to run the business you list. One person or business may not operate an excessive number of accounts to exploit free-tier limits or referral rewards.
3. The AI assistant
Your Runambiz assistant answers customers using only the information you provide in your dashboard. It is a tool that represents your business in conversation — you remain responsible for the accuracy of what it is told to say, and for reviewing its behaviour from time to time. Runambiz is not liable for a sale, refund dispute, or misunderstanding that results from information you entered incorrectly or left out.
The assistant is designed to escalate to you anything it cannot answer confidently. You should monitor your dashboard regularly rather than relying on it to run entirely unsupervised.
4. Your catalog and content
You retain ownership of your product photos, descriptions, prices and business information. By uploading them, you grant Runambiz the licence needed to store, display and transmit that content in order to operate your store and assistant. You confirm you have the right to use any image or text you upload, and that it does not infringe anyone else's rights.
5. WhatsApp and Telegram
When you connect a Telegram bot or a WhatsApp Business number, you are also subject to Telegram's and Meta's own terms for those platforms. Runambiz is not responsible for changes those platforms make to their pricing, features or availability. A WhatsApp number connected through the Cloud API can no longer be used from the regular WhatsApp app — you accept this limitation when you connect a number.
6. Payments
Payments are processed by Paystack, a third-party payment provider. Runambiz does not store your customers' card details. Disputes about a specific payment, chargeback, or transfer are subject to Paystack's own terms in addition to these. You are responsible for fulfilling orders that show as paid in your dashboard.
7. Fees and plans
Runambiz offers a free tier and paid tiers with additional usage limits and features, described on our pricing page. Prices may change; you will be notified of changes to your plan's price before they take effect. Fees already paid are non-refundable except where required by law.
8. Acceptable use
You may not use Runambiz to:
- Sell goods or services that are illegal, counterfeit, or restricted under Nigerian law
- Mislead customers about pricing, availability, or the nature of your product
- Send unsolicited bulk messages through connected channels
- Attempt to circumvent usage limits, referral conditions, or security controls
- Use the platform in a way that violates WhatsApp's, Telegram's or Paystack's own policies
We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these terms.
9. Referral rewards
Referral credit is granted only once a referred business has published a store with genuine products and, where stated, handled a real customer interaction. Runambiz may withhold or reverse credit obtained through fake accounts, duplicate businesses, or any other attempt to game the referral system.
10. Availability and changes
We aim to keep Runambiz available at all times but do not guarantee uninterrupted service, particularly during early access. Features described in our documentation may change as the product develops. We will try to give reasonable notice of changes that affect how your store operates.
11. Liability
Runambiz is provided "as is." To the fullest extent permitted by law, HoblemercyTech is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, including lost sales, arising from use of the platform, outages of third-party services (WhatsApp, Telegram, OpenAI, Anthropic, Paystack, Supabase, Resend), or content generated by the AI assistant based on information you provided.
12. Termination
You may close your account at any time from your dashboard. We may suspend or close accounts that breach these terms, with notice where reasonably possible. On termination, your store and assistant stop responding to customers; your data is retained or deleted as described in our Privacy Policy.
13. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Federal Republic of Nigeria. Any dispute will be subject to the jurisdiction of Nigerian courts, unless otherwise required by law.
